THE MAGICIAN'S WILL
a Middle Grade Mystery, 53k words
An unabashed love letter to childhood, magic and found family, The Magician's Will centers around orphan Chuck Eberling as he competes for a multimillion-dollar prize so he's able to escape the clutches of his abusive foster parent, a man named Wallace.
When the world’s most famous magician—Max Marvel—dies, he has no heir. Instead, the magician’s will stipulates his entire estate shall pass to the winner of a nationwide contest.
As orphans, Chuck Eberling and his foster brother, Mikey, adore magic and use the skill to escape the tyrannical rule of their foster parent, Wallace. Together they use their knowledge and skill to secure one of only four spots in the Marvel contest.
Chuck is hopeful he can win but vying against a wealthy kid with every magic gizmo at his fingertips, an A+ scholar who knows every factoid about magic and an all-star athlete with competition in her genes, he knows it’s an uphill battle.
After arriving at Marvel’s Estate, things start to go awry. All is not as it seems. Each of his opponents seem to be unified against him, Wallace pushes him to win at any cost, and someone is planning to steal the final illusion Max Marvel created before his death. If he’s to have any chance of winning it all, Chuck needs to solve the mystery of Max Marvel’s death in order to preserve the legacy of his favorite magician and remove Wallace from his life forever.

DREAM WALKER
a Middle Grade Fantasy Adventure, 52k words
A story that started as bedtime conversations with my boys eventually ballooned into an epic story of brotherhood, facing your nightmares and how far you'd go for the ones you love.
When Henry starts his day with a missing dream, he stays up all day and night to figure out where it went. That’s when Worthington, a delivery fairy from the Dream Realm, appears in his bedroom. To get answers, Henry captures the tiny creature and accidentally crosses the gap between realms.
Not everyone can do this. It’s rare. He learns that he’s a unique human called a Dream Walker, able to cross between the human realm and into the dream one, and once he hones his gifts, he could turn his dreams into reality.
These abilities aren’t without their drawbacks. By crossing over, he draws the attention of a dark being—one born of a fallen dream and only whispered about in hushed circles—called “Mister No One.” He wants to use Henry to bridge their two worlds so he can rule over both and possibly end all of existence. In order to force Henry to do his bidding, he kidnaps his younger brother, so Henry must quickly learn to control his dreams and find his brother before everything is lost forever.
